The scientific basis from which the CFU Èlife device originates is the HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) technology that has been applied for years to the treatment of tumours, which uses the thermal energy created at precise focal distance by an ultrasound wave transducer. Through this innovative therapeutic approach, it is possible to stimulate the natural cellular mechanism of tissue repair and regeneration.
Compared to traditional HIFU, CFU Èlife drastically reduces the treatment time by using the new EASYFLOW application method and by modulating the ultrasound emission frequency up to 10Hz.
The practitioner has the possibility of personalising the treatment by choosing the most suitable transducer for the depth to be reached, calibrating the power and mode of ultrasound emission appropriately, according to the patient’s characteristics, the area to be treated and the result to be obtained.

The ultrasonic wave emitted by the centerless transducer flows precisely into the point of focus, where it reaches a temperature above 65°C, necessary to promote the contraction of collagen fibres without damaging the skin on the surface.

What happens to fat cells after treatment with CFU-Èlife?
The fat cells affected give rise to an inflammatory reaction that triggers a healing process. Cells called macrophages remove damaged fat cells and cell debris. Macrophages transport fat through the lymphatic and venous systems to the liver. This process takes about 2 to 4 weeks. The liver treats the fat removed from macrophages just like the fat in food by metabolizing it normally.

CFU-Èlife is a safe and non-invasive method for the treatment of skin ageing and for the reduction of the depth of wrinkles in the face/neck area, as well as for reshaping the body profile.
Can it replace a facelift?
CFU-Èlife works on the deepest layer of skin but cannot replace the results of a face lift. However, it is a valid alternative, especially for those who are not ready for surgery or for patients who are trying to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.
What causes the autologous collagen production process?
The transducer/cartridge used focuses the ultrasound energy deep into the skin at a sufficient temperature for the collagen regeneration process to begin, a natural process known as neocollagenesis. CFU-Èlife does not require the use of substances, creams, fillers or other infiltration products.
How long does a treatment last?
The duration of the treatment depends on the size of the area to be treated and the characteristics of the patient. A face and neck procedure typically takes 60-90 minutes, while a décolleté treatment lasts about 30 minutes.
Does the treatment require recovery time?
CFU-Èlife does not require recovery time. Immediately after the procedure it is possible to resume normal activities without having to take special precautions.
